The quiet after the storm … Together we will tour the foothills of the spectacular Pyrenees and explore the breathtaking views. Alongside the hiking tours, you can rent bikes and pedal on trails of various difficulty levels, or ride horses in the vast open areas. Adrenaline lovers will also find plenty of choices for challenging nature walks: mountain climbing, river rafting and more.
Shop ‘til you drop
Throughout the small state lie many rural resort towns. Here we can tour the picturesque alleyways, visit the many souvenir shops or just sit for coffee and enjoy the view. The state-wide VAT exemption allows you to "stock up" big time in the many malls scattered throughout the country.
Between France and Spain
The town of Canillo is located near the border with both France and Spain, allowing you "three in one ticket": After a short drive you can cross the border into Spain or France and enjoy trips to various sites: huge national parks, French and Spanish Riviera beaches, Girona Old Town and of course – a large selection of fashionable shopping centers.

Excursion Program The Pyrenees Mountains, summer 2023
Between France and Spain there is a mountain range called the Pyrenees, which form the border between France and Spain, and in its Center- the Principality of Andorra. Spanish and French influenced towns on both sides of the border, national parks, natural reserves and natural rivers will accompany our stay.
Arrival day: Ben Gurion Airport – Barcelona - Canillo
We will take off from Ben-Gurion Airport, and land in Barcelona at 12:30.
We arrive at the hotel late in the evening approx. 21:30
* Please bring food and drink for the first day until our arrival to the hotel
We will go through Barcelona – the beautiful city that combines old with new magnificent buildings with interesting architecture, wide boulevards and fountains.
(If we have time) On the way we will pass and see the special house designed and built by Gaudi, we will continue our tour of the city and on our way, we will see the masterpiece La Sagrada Familia.
We will end the visit to this special city with a view of the city and its harbor from the Mount of the Jews.
Day Trip 1 - Labouiche caves, the town of Ax les thermes
Today we are visiting France where we will see geological phenomena and magical towns.
We will cross the border to France in the direction of the Labouiche caves and visit a hidden and magical geological world, where stalagmites, sentries and other unique geological phenomena.
In suitable weather conditions, we will sail in an underground river for 1.5 km. A magical experience! After lunch we make our way to the nearby French town of Aix-les-Thermes known for its naturally occurring thermal springs.
We will Explore the picturesque streets of the town and admire the atmosphere of a typical French village.
Day Trip 2 - (Friday) Andorra la Vella
Friday will be devoted entirely to Andorra or rather to Andorra La Vella, the capital. We will drive from our hotel to the capital of Andorra for a short tour of the city center, where we will see impressive buildings and one of the largest shopping areas in Europe. the city is a paradise for shopping lovers, as Andorra is duty free.
Of course, free time will be given for shopping and then loaded with bags, we will make our way to the hotel to get organized for Shabbat …
Day Trip 3 - Peaks and valleys in Andorra - Ordino- Tristaina lakes- d'incles valley
On this day we will get to know more about the country of Andorra and the special area where it is located. We will start the tour at one of the impressive terraces in the Canillo Valley called roc del quer from there we will continue to visit the tobacco museum Museu Del Tabac in SANT JULIA DE LORIA.
We will then go to the town of Ordino, one The ancient and impressive towns in Andorra, located in the Canilo region (where Melonino is located), from where we will go up in cable cars up to a height of about 2700 m, overlooking the spectacular view of the Canilo valley, the French Pyrenees, the Tristaina lakes and more… from there we will make our way Back to our hotel.
Day Trip 4 - Aiguestortes national park.
This is an amazing day of nature and water. We will leave the hotel towards the Aiguestortes National Park. The park is a special national reserve located in the high ridge of Lleida that contains lakes, glaciers, waterfalls and towering peaks.
We will reach the village of Espot, which is the gateway to the Catalan reserve in the Pyrenees mountains, and we will go up to the reserve in jeeps, for a fun tour.
We will have lunch near Sant-Maurici lake and then descend on foot through waterfalls and lakes.
Day tour 5 - La Cerdanya Valley, the city of Puigcerdà
Today we will make our way to the La Cerdanya Valley and walk in the French Pyrenees on the border between France and Spain. First, we will stop to visit the Sardinia Valley aka Puigcerdà, the capital of the Catalan province, where we will walk through the alleys of the town from where you can look out over the entire valley and stop for lunch in a beautiful pastoral place.
From there, we will continue onto the famous yellow tourist train which will take us around the valley and get a close-up impression of the beautiful views of this area.
On our way to the hotel, we will stop at the border town of PAS DE LA CASA, a tax-free shopping town.
Departure day: Andorra - Barcelona airport - Tel Aviv
We will leave early in the morning (6:30) after Shacharit and breakfast we will go directly to the airport in Barcelona.
We will take off at 13:30 and land safely in Israel at 18:45 tired, satisfied, and full of experiences!
