The quiet after the storm … Together we will tour the foothills of the spectacular Pyrenees and explore the breathtaking views. Alongside the hiking tours, you can rent bikes and pedal on trails of various difficulty levels, or ride horses in the vast open areas. Adrenaline lovers will also find plenty of choices for challenging nature walks: mountain climbing, river rafting and more.
Throughout the small state lie many rural resort towns. Here we can tour the picturesque alleyways, visit the many souvenir shops or just sit for coffee and enjoy the view. The state-wide VAT exemption allows you to “stock up” big time in the many malls scattered throughout the country.
The town of Canillo is located near the border with both France and Spain, allowing you “three in one ticket”: After a short drive you can cross the border into Spain or France and enjoy trips to various sites: huge national parks, French and Spanish Riviera beaches, Girona Old Town and of course – a large selection of fashionable shopping centers.
Between France and Spain there is a mountain range called the Pyrenees, which form the border between France and Spain, and in its Center- the Principality of Andorra. Spanish and French influenced towns on both sides of the border, national parks, natural reserves and natural rivers will accompany our stay.
Today we are visiting France where we will see geological phenomena and magical towns.
We will cross the border to France in the direction of the Labouiche caves and visit a hidden and magical geological world, where stalagmites, sentries and other unique geological phenomena.
In suitable weather conditions, we will sail in an underground river for 1.5 km. A magical experience! After lunch we make our way to the nearby French town of Aix-les-Thermes known for its naturally occurring thermal springs.
We will Explore the picturesque streets of the town and admire the atmosphere of a typical French village.
Friday will be devoted entirely to Andorra or rather to Andorra La Vella, the capital. We will drive from our hotel to the capital of Andorra for a short tour of the city center, where we will see impressive buildings and one of the largest shopping areas in Europe. the city is a paradise for shopping lovers, as Andorra is duty free.
Of course, free time will be given for shopping and then loaded with bags, we will make our way to the hotel to get organized for Shabbat …
It is an amazing day of nature and water. We will leave the hotel towards the national park of Aiguestortes. The park is a unique national reserve located in the high ridge of Lleida, which contains lakes, glaciers, waterfalls and towering peaks.
We will arrive at the village of Espot, which is the entrance gate to the Catalan reserve in the Pyrenees Mountains and we will drive up in jeeps for an enjoyable tour.
We will have our lunch near Sant Maurici Lake and then walk down through waterfalls and lakes.
On this day we will get to know the Andorra and the special area in which it is located. We will drive up to the town of Ordino, one of the oldest and most impressive towns in Andorra, located in the Canillo region (where our hotel is located), from which we will ascende by cable car to a height of about 2700 meters. We will be able to see the magnificent views of the Canillo Valley, the French Pyrenees, the Tristaina lakes and more … Then we will travel to the famous valley of Incles, not far from the border of Andorra-France, and take a look at the beautiful valley. From there we will make our way to one of the most impressive terraces in the Canillo Valley del quer.
Today we will head to the La Cerdanya Valley and tour the French Pyrenees on the border between France and Spain. We will take the famous yellow tourist train in which we will tour the valley and take a closer look at the beautiful views of this area.
We will then stop for lunch in a beautiful pastoral location and from there we will continue to the capital of the Cerdanya Valley, Puigcerdà, the capital of the Catalan province, where we will stroll through the alleys where we can look over the entire valley.
We will leave early in the morning (7:30) After prayer and breakfast we will move to the foot of the Montserrat mountains. We will drive to Barcelona – the beautiful city that combines old with new, luxury buildings with interesting architecture, wide boulevards and fountains. On our way to Guell Park where some of the works of the famous artist Gaudi are displayed we will pass and see the special house designed and built by Gaudi. We will stop for lunch in the park and visit it. We will continue our tour to the old quarter and on our way we will see the masterpiece La Sagrada Familia. We will visit the old quarter where the Jewish ghetto is also located. We will pray in the synagogue attributed to the Rashba. From there we will go to the wide and beautiful boulevard – Las Ramblas, we will turn to the wonderful fruit and vegetable market – La Boqueria. And its port is Mount of the Jews.
We will take off at and land safely in Israel, Tired, satisfied and full of experiences!
